Great Cajun food... We got the étouffée, crab cakes, shrimp creole and were impressed by all the dishes. We were able to bring a beer cooler which is always a plus! This is a fun, eclectic place with great food and service. I would recommend it for anyone in the area!
We are from Atlanta and have a home in Long Beach. Every time we visit Long Beach we HAVE to go to Darwell's especially on the weekends when there is some really good live music. And Mr. Darwell himself is entertaining!! I have tried many things on the menu over the years but once I tried the crawfish etouffe I haven't eaten anything else at Darwell's. It is not only the best thing on the menu....it is one of the best things I have EVER had at ANY restaurant!!! We love the old hippy atmosphere....course that seems to fit Mr. Darwell perfectly. What a great experience...really fun. I highly recommend it.
Wow! This is distinctly the best burger I've had in Mississippi. The Gandy Dancer is the pinnacle of burger heaven. The staff's friendliness and menu remind me about everything that I Love about living in a big city like San Diego or Chicago. It's also BYOB, which is way too rare for the area. This place deserves your patronage!

A mouth watering, lip smacking, heavenly dining experience you won't regret!!! A big "O" for your mouth. A local spot that I drive 3 hrs to eat at.
