Cotton Blues
Reviews
Was looking for a good soul food restaurant, seen the name Cotton Blues and knew it had to be a hole in the wall with great food, were we surprised to find what we did, upscale all the way, some of the best food ever, service that went beyond any place we have ever been, and a well kept dinning room and bar, open, bright, and in the two weeks we were in town we went twice, will be in MS in the next two weeks and we will be there I know, met the owner, can't wait to have dinner there again, Thanks for a great dining experience.........I know what I am talking about I used to be a chef.
Delicious and very reasonably priced lunch specials. Everything was fresh and tasted homemade. I had the blackened redfish with sweet potato mash and collard greens and my son had the oyster po-boy. We'll definitely be back!
Amazing food and staff. We came across this gem by referral from a local. Its kind of hidden off the main drag. After the initial visit it turned into a weekly adventure. We attempted to try everything on the menu and was not disappointed in anything. Deliciously well thought menu. Unique but comfortably familiar. Large portions with a Southern/NO flare but upscale restaurant feel. We chose to frequent at Sunday's brunch after church and sat in the Bar area. Why you ask??? Jordan is one of the best waiters we have ever encountered. And we travel for a living. He is on point, remembers your name, and never leaves you wanting anything. It is entertaining to watch him work....art form. Oh and don't forget their desserts. The lemon ice box pie is mouth watering, but so are all the other freshly made delights. All in a delightful atmosphere. You can come dressed up or down....your choice. The full package of comfy and comfort food.
Great food
Not the best experience, a little over priced and service was bad on the patio.
