My wife and I stayed @ GZBC (above the club) for 2 nights @ the end of April (2014). Great welcoming folks who are are warm & extremely down-to-earth friendly. We felt right at home. The entertainment was solid and so was the chow. Great Bang for the Buck! We've traveled all over the world in our lifetime & if you love people, (real people) and meeting folks from far & wide with a similar affection for THE BLUES...then this is the place to stay! Mike & Terry P.S. Don't miss Red's either while you're there. It's just across the tracks.

We stopped by there on the way back from my son's graduation at Delta State. It took 45 minutes to get the appetizers we ordered and an hour and a half to get our meal. The food was really good' but the waitress we had acted like she didn't care if we were waited on or not. Even after the horrible service they only offered to take 20% off our bill, As bad as the service was it should have been on the house. I will never go back, We could be treated that way anywhere. Very disappointed,

The band was great, the cover was low, the beer was cold. I was there too late to try the food, maybe next time. They have occasional drink specials now, the special on the Friday night I went was PBR or MGD cans for $2.50.
