Contrary to some of the previous reviews, we had a great meal. The atmosphere is nice and the service was impecable. It is priced about what Ruth's Chris charges for a filet mignon but it definitely is not in the same class. My wife had the filet and I had the baked chicken breast with mushrooms, salad, and cheese grits. The entrees were cooked well and very tasty. We had the Bananas Foster for desert..........WOW !!!!

A previous review stated this place as "a little pricey.". We we're not expecting Expensive. The appetizers were $10 to $20. Entrees were $20 to $40. We opted for the specials a bowl of gumbo and seafood pasta. Side salad was extra.$3.95. Waitress said gumbo was spicy...not at all. Pasta seemed over cooked, tasted good and grilled shrimp on it was really good. 2 cocktails and water... just under $50 for 2 people.

that review by Dawn LaRue was bogus. I've eaten at steak restaurants all over the country and Johnny Stewarts place will rival most of them. great service, and normal fine Steak house prices. it is a fun restaurant with entertainment in the bar so if you want that really quiet evening then go home
