Good home cooked fried chicken. The food and the service is really good here. The prices are decent and the restaurant is clean and organized.
Worst service I've ever experienced in my life and the food was not very good. Our waitress "Tamara" forgot about us numerous times, then forgot my hash browns that were included with my meal. When she finally brought them I was finished and beyond ready to leave. The biscuits and gravy tasted like wallpaper paste. Tamra knew I was upset so she did comp my meal which was very nice but she didn't even apologize once for forgetting about us after she sat us, then forgetting the hashbrowns, and forgetting to offer a refill. Next time I'll make sure to visit St. James on any day but Monday so I can go to Sybil's. I'd rather pay a little more to enjoy my food and get waited on by someone who cares.
i absolutely LOVE this place, you walk right in and they make sure they get right to you and the food is just absolute heaven!
I was looking for a place with good home cookin' to stop at on the way to a wedding. We had driven all night from Pittsburgh and were anxious to spend some time outside of the car and devouring some delicious food. Country Bob's delivered! The service was more than adequate, although the waitresses seemed tired. The food, however, was not to be beat. I really like french toast, and the serving was large and delicious. The bacon was extremely crispy, which did not please me because I like my bacon chewy, but that's more of a personal choice. Price was good, food was good, and they let us plug in our laptop while we ate to charge it up.
