THEY CLOSED!!! ): What a Great place to eat! Nothing compares to this place out in this area. We have gone there often and always enjoy the good food and deco. We went this weekend only to find out they have closed!!! Now don't know where to go as nothing out in that area is near as good with that same type of food and good prices to match.
Went there last weekend after stumbling across several good reviews on TripAdvisor. Have to say food was excellent; wife and I went on a date and it was a great lunch. I had the steak (tri-tip) salad and she had the chicken salad sandwich with fries. My salad was top notch, very large and fresh with good portion of steak. Her sandwich was excellent, I tried a bite and best chicken salad I've ever had. Next time I will get the Reuben. Fries could use a little bit of seasoning/crispness but that's just my preference. Best food I've had in the area yet; unique menu, fresh, and NOT boring if you are looking for something authentic and tasty this is it!
Great home-town Family Restaurant. It has a family-friendly bar, and the atmosphere is enhanced with handmade glass fish lighting fixtures, river gear and decorations. One table is even made out of a canoe! Food is burger and fry fare with weekend specials like ribs and steak, with a few salad options as well. I recommend the Reuben with onion rings. Bathrooms are super fun, and the staff is very friendly and with-it. Homemade desserts like rum cake, homemade peach ice cream, and cheesecake. Great for families or Casual date.
