Paddy Malone's Pub

We love Ireland and seek out Irish pubs whenever we travel, but this one, close to home, is among the best. Great food. No pretense. Looks and feels like the pubs in Ireland. We always sit on the bar side for the atmosphere. Highly recommend the portabella fries -- the half-order is enough if you're having a burger (great!) or Shepherd's Pie. They'll build you a Guinness or pour you a whiskey. Friendly, neighborhood place. Plan to wait if you don't arrive early on weekend nights. Not open for lunch or on Sundays. Enjoy!! Slainte!

Great atmosphere and good food - everything you expect from an Irish pub. AND if you didn't know it - apparently the Irish can make great burgers too! Try the Irish food if you like, but their burgers here are amazing! Good fish and chips also. And of course there's Irish ale for those who like that sort of thing. When we visit Jefferson City, this is usually one of our stops.

The Bartenders are fantastic; the draft Beer is cold and the Mushrooms are second to none! Fish and Chips are great too....I can not recommend Paddy's enough. It is the BEST place in Jefferson City, period!

While visiting Jefferson City, this place was recommended by a friend that lives in the area, and I'm glad we went. We checked out the menu online and were determined to try the Yogi, so we decided to walk the 1.1 miles from our hotel to burn some of it off. Once we were there, an order of pub fries drenched in Guinness sauce sounded like a good addition, and they were extremely delicious. After letting the burger cool down from the hot magma temperature, it was time to devour the Yogi. It was something unique, and was actually pretty good, but it could definitely be split by two people. It's actually probably advisable to avoid heart problems in the future. This has the true feel of an Irish pub with plenty of good beers on tap, and plenty of proper pint glasses. Stop by if you're in town.

If you want to know what Paddy Malone's is all about, then read on. Yesterday, I lost my job. My wife and I, who somewhat frequent the place, decided to come here for a drink or two. The staff greeted us as they always do and asked how I was doing. I told them what happened. One associate got called away, but stopped another bartender and whispered something to her. She came to us and said "First drink is on him guys, what can I get for you?" Every time he walked past me, he patted me on the back and told me it was going to be ok. The other bartenders and servers kept my mood up and went above and beyond what I could have hoped for. If you guys are reading this, I just want you to know how much it meant to me. It was a very difficult day, and you made it a little brighter. Once I get a job, the drink is on me.
