I've been taking my family to JB's Steakhouse for more than seven years. It's a very pleasant, non-smoking environment. Our last visit was primarily for 'crab legs', and they were outstanding. As one originally from the Texas Gulf Coast, I appreciate crab done right. Other menu items include an excellent grilled pork chop, grilled salmon, and a sumptuous herbal tomato soup. If burgers are more to your liking, I recommend JB's 'mushroom and swiss'. Be sure to order their homemade french fries with that burger. The fries, alone, are worth the trip. We've also always had a pleasant experience with the waitresses, who are clean, courteous, and attentive. We increased our attendance at JB's when it became a 'non-smoking' establishment.
We always stop for lunch on our way back to Chillicothe, MO from Marshall, MO. Food, atmosphere and service always very good. The place is clean ! I especially like their hot beef sandwiches but do not care for their Philly Cheese sandwiches, other than that, all other food is good and prices are in line.
I've been going here for around 7 years. My favorites are the fried catfish, and the smoked pork chop. Delicious!
