Where to start... We decided to try this place for a change and boy were we sorry. The man working the counter was extremely rude and pushy. He didn't want to wait for us to decide what to order and since it was our first time there we had no idea what they offered. We had to find our own menus on a table and pick something fast. After ordering the food he quickly walked away without asking for our drink order. He was visibly annoyed with us. I had to chase him down at the counter and tell him what drink we wanted. The table we sat at was so sticky with old food not yet cleaned off that we switched tables. When we got our food our drinks were enpty but that didn't click for him. He never asked how we were doing or if we needed refils. The food was bad. The salad was made of that old hard, white hunks of lettuce that most restaurants don't serve. It had a lot of water in the bowl, which I still don't understand. The soup was extremely peppery and was unbearable to eat since I had no more water to drink it down. Finally, the chicken salad sandwich was dark yellow and tasted aweful. I know this seems like a made up story but I am not exagerating. After this exprience I went to our usual cafe and told everyone there the horror story. Word of mouth can help or hurt a lot. It is too bad this place just doesn't care.
Social's is very unprofessional, & rude. They blaimed the bride for the cake looking so bad. When she called she got hardcore arguing for 20 mins. Please tell everyone you know so this doesn't happen to them. Her wedding cake was a disaster and cost $600! Anyone who saw my cake can attest to this....bc it looked worse in person!!
And the news is bad. Treated a friend horribly about their wedding cake, and did a really shoddy job with it. I can only speak about their cakes, and all I can say is... don't get one here.
Best damn chicken salad sandwich ever. Pasta salad is seriously awesome. Service needs improvement
Social's Cafe is a good place to lunch with a group. There's something for everyone, and the service is fast.
