This is my experience. Two times when my wife and I asked the staff why they let the water in the sinks run constantly, we were told "We have to so we can wash our dishes." When my wife pointed out that this was a huge waste of water, the response from staff was "I know." Of course it is quite likely NOT necessary to have the water on ALL the time. At least this is what the agent at the toll free customer service desk said, although she was not sure. In fact that agent did not seem to think anything at all needed to be done about this. According to Starbucks website, they care about wasting water, however the staff at this Starbucks in Virginia MN do not seem to be really aware of why wasting water is a problem. I will be going back there every time I shop in Virginia, and I will do my best to shame the staff and management at starbucks for their seeming cluelessness. But I won't be buying any more coffee there until they get their act together.
