O'Neil's
Reviews
Recently I had the good fortune of visiting Johnny O'Neil's in Spicer, Minnesota. I have visited there a few times in the past couple months, but this time was extra nice. The weather was quite beautiful and the view of the lake was amazing. We arrived and were seated quite quickly, would have liked to have been outside but the tables were full. We got an high-top table and that was just fine. The waitress came over and took our drink order. I ordered a Strawberry Margarita on the rocks. I can't say I was super impressed, so I ordered a regular on my second round and that was much better. I was on the fence about ordering a pizza because I didn’t want to wait too long. The waitress informed me that she could check with the kitchen and I told her it wasn't that big of a deal. After looking the menu over for a bit I decided to get a Cheesburger Pizza anyway. Normally I order a Chicken Strip Melt Sandwich, which is very good, but I thought I should try something different. The waitress refilled drinks and before I knew it I had my small Cesar Salad, fresh, and my pizza. The pizza was hot and plenty of ingredients to fill the pie. I left there full and happy. As always the service, food, and atmosphere is top notch at O'Neil's and I can't wait to go back.
Hubby and I went for Sunday dinner. He had the NY Strip and I had the Shrimp with Linguini and clams sauce. It was excellent. I'm from Long Island and I know my clam sauce and it was really good. Service was good as well.
O'Neill has renovated this summer and expanded their dining. Much better and faster food/service.
