Love the new location! The atmosphere and the food are great.
My party ate dinner in the dining room and were the only people in the place - after we ate, I realized why: THE FOOD IS HORRIBLE! Each of the 3 dinners we ordered had meat that tasted like it had been cooked 2 days earlier and reheated in a microwave - same with the baked potatoes. My tenderloin was like a piece of old leather, dry and flavorless. The server came back only once to check on us and asked how the food was and when we told her she confessed that there had been 2 other complaints about the steak...and then walked away. We left shortly thereafter and passed our server and the owner at the door on the way out and no one said a word. I probably would have kept this poor review to myself if there had been some offer to adjust our bill or throw in a free dessert - ANYTHING. My advice to Roster's: 1) If you don't give a crap, don't ask how the food tastes and 2) An apology and a comp dessert or drink is a smart investment - the last thing a business (especially a new one in a bad economy) needs is a bad reputation. My guess is that they're bread and butter comes from alcohol sales though, so they likely don't care.
