I'm a 4th gen. farmer that grew up with a family of five kids. Mom and Dad didn't care who or how the the family was fed. Your typical meat and potato lover hard working family farm. It was my mother that taught us values like this is the best we can do and if we needed a little help then the older should respectfully help the younger. help cook set the table do dishes dry and put away. We all took turns and never kept score. Do the best and put forth the most. Every meal was pleasantly and politely served with a please and thank-you. We never started until all, including mom had sat down. When done eating we never got up from our plate until all were done eating. No, we did have a normal loud argument or two; but my point is, we never complained about the taste or if it was cold or not enough. Who could? when if you did complain, you went without. The two of us sat down to this busy Sunday morning with a good morning and if we would like coffee? with a smile and menu that was just over the top. I ordered the cream cheese french toast with strawberrys and Cindy ordered a skillet. with milk. After a bit two little kids came over and started cleaning tables and chairs. 7 yrs old or so, dressed like professional waiter and waitress. Got my attention; Wow I said to Cindy, "boy you don't see that anymore". I had to ask one. So have you worked here often and what time did you start. Thinking they were doing it for a club fund raising or something. "Yes we started at 6.00 this morning" we work here because we like too and mom runs this place. I was impressed ...... Then Gramma came over with the coffee and told us the story that they had 4 other siblings and they all help out. Her daughter runs the place and this was just another generation of longtime proud food servers that was being past down. Just how cool is that. Now it brought back memories and I challenge any place in the this country where you see that. That mother has my utmost respect. I bet my bottom dollar that if anybody else read the previous reviews, that it would stand the hair up on the back of you head. I have never in a my life been in such a great atmosphere and great food. The milk was ice cold and the coffee just right. Couldn't find a thing wrong. I'd like to compare this place with any fast food or any five star. And find just one thing that is any better. I bet,her kids at there age, could even count change. This place has a great future and would be a great example of what a restaurant should be like. Most people like this know there are two types of people. Leaders and followers , they take or give and believe the world owes them or they try to make it a better place to live. I know what type of people at this fine restaurant are. thanks for the breakfast, it was great. Mark and Cindy

Stopped in September 22, 2013 at 9:30am. Was from out of town and was on a motorcycle trip and choose your restaurant for our breakfast before heading on our way home. We first had to wait for several minutes before our waiter came to get our beverage order. Brought our coffee and gave us a few more minutes to look over the menu. After serving 3 other tables my husband finally asked him if he was going to take our order. I ordered french toast, bacon and eggs, my husband ordered the cream cheese french toast strawberry and he got pancakes instead. When he told the waiter that that was not what he ordered, he said yes it was and said he could get the menu and show him that that is wait he ordered. We didn't have time to wait for the right thing to get made we were on a schedule to get home at a descent time. If we ever come back to redwood falls, which we plan on, we will not be stopping at your restaurant again. You get 2 thumbs down from me.

Wifes cup had gummy crap on it and the cheese on my burger had what appeared to be black lint on it. Walked out when manager had an adittude.
