The Branding Iron is so good! I continue to return time and time again due to their service, their view, and especially, their food. The salad bar and the menu items are wonderful. They have choices for everyone! 5 star overall. If you're in southeastern Minnesota, I suggest you try this restaurant.

We have been going to the Branding Iron since 1968 and while it has changed hands a few times the food is awesome...and while there is a variety of wonderful food we love a grilled burger there. MMM!!! Looking for a yummy after dinner drink, try the Golden Cadillac or the Pink Squirrel...bartenders are beyond compare!
Consistent quality and service but the steaks are really getting tough and dry nowadays. We get our fix of salad bar and basket of toasts which we love, though. Nice view of Preston if you consider that something look at.
Major disappointment. Salad bar was good. Goes down from there. Steaks were way over cooked. Like leather. And waitress only got half drink order correct. (There was 2 of us) Not happy or impressed at all. And I usually don't write reviews.
