We were there about a month and a half ago and had terrible service. They botched the drive-thru order completely and were super slow!! Then, we had ordered kids meals for 4 kids but did not want the drinks. Instead, we paid extra [full price] for shakes instead of the drinks that were supposed to be included with the meals. We asked if it would be possible to get either a discount or vouchers for free drinks since they were paid for and since we paid full price for the shakes and the server got snippy with us. Then we told them that since they had the shakes already we wanted the coupons for their treats instead of the treats. They were not happy about that either, but gave us 4 pieces of paper for either 1 of 2 different treats but they could only be redeemed in Ortonville. We had not planned on going back there but if we wanted to use the coupons we had to. That brought us to today's visit. We ordered a large coffee with cream and sugar [and were quickly informed that they don't have large coffee] so we settled with a small, and we told her we wanted to redeem the free coupons and told her what we wanted. We got to the window and waited ... and waited ... and waited. We could see 2 people inside just standing there. When a gal finally got to the window, she handed the coffee out. My mom asked if her cream and sugar were already in it and she said the cream was and gave her 3 sugar packets. The coffee was barely warm!! She then reopened the window because she didn't write down what kind of treats we asked for. We waited in that drive thru line for over 5 minutes. Mom asked them if they were that busy in there and she didn't say a word. Needless to say, we will not be going there again. [FWIW, the coffee tasted like it had been sitting there since yesterday morning and the kids said the ice cream tasted "old"]

Not only are the employees rude, but the quality of product is less than comparable to other DQ chains. Recently, the staff has taped a typed printed sign to the menu indicating that service in the drive through is a convenience, not quicker. And the business hours that are posted on the large sign as 11am- 9pm are inaccurate. We tried to get blizzards at 8:40 and they had already locked the doors, and turned the drive through lights off, but at the same time there was still a vehicle at the window. The woman told us through the intercom that she couldn't hear us. At that point we were only back in the drive through to ask if they had changed hours. Don't be surprised if this location closes. They certainly don't do much to ENCOURAGE business.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced anywhere! We had ordered 3 blizzards with "extra stuff" and received blizzards that were basically plain soft serve, so we asked the woman working if she remembered the extra stuff and she said she had and continued to argue with us very rudely for a few minutes before she called her manager who gave the same response. I finally gave up and asked how much it would be to get more "extra stuff" so we were satisfied like past experiences and she charged me an additional $1.20 on top of the already $.60, so our blizzards ended up costing $7.27 each. Before she left she had admitted that the owner changed their topping measuring spoons to ones that were 40% the capacity of the past spoon. Will NEVER even think of going here again.
