My daughter and her friend visiting from Texas were there for breakfast on Wednesday, August 20. They both ordered the skillet breakfast which was supposed to include eggs, hash browns, biscuits and gravy. They were served only biscuits and gravy. When the wait person stopped back at their table, they informed her that they did not get what they ordered. She walked away from their table without saying a word and didn't return until she slapped their bill down on the table. She did discount their breakfasts and only charged them for the biscuits and gravy. They expressed their displeasure to the woman at the checkout counter, and said they wouldn't be coming back. Her response, "Good, don't." Rude! Unfriendly staff. Service terrible.
Really good service and great food. Best lunch spot in Isle
An amazing gem in the quaint town of Isle. This is your quintessential Mom and Pop family restaurant, featuring all of the typical northern Minnesota delicacies. They are mostly thought of as a breakfast destination, although I only think of one thing when I go there, cheese burger with fried onions! I have been to almost every single restaurant in the Mille Lacs area and I have to say, BEST BURGER I HAVE EVER HAD!! Their staff is amazing and very good about making sure you are taken care of. I have never had a bad experience. If you are visiting Lake Mille Lacs this summer don't forget to stop by the Country Corner Cafe, you won't regret it!!
