We stopped in one day and had dinner here while visiting family. Very home kitchen type atmosphere and the food was excellent. If you truly want a good home cooked meal stop by. Peggy and her staff will treat you right. This restaurant is one of those hidden gems in West Central Minnesota.
A true find. A notch above the usual. Pegs know how to run a flat top! Far and away the best place to eat in this small town. A warning: they are open early but closes at 4PM. So come early or you will miss out on the best eats around.
Pegs place is the place to go when in Appleton.. You will love the food and the company...... Not the standard Cafe.... Almost gourmet' Great place to eat and relax..... . Warm homey atmosphere.. .Gooooood cooks. Great hamburgers and turkey melts...... Really good tater tots and fries too. And lots of other delicious food........ daily specials If Derrick is there ask him to show you some magic..he knows a great trick with ashes. ........ and some other great tricks to entertain you...... He is a very polite,wonderful young man Take the kids they have special menu for them The prices are also very affordable considering the great tasty food you get. go there and enjoy your stay in Appleton
