Gracie's Place

Wonderful food and atmosphere! The waiters and staff are all very professional and eager to make this place great. The food is creative and always really good. It's a bit expensive, but never unreasonable. This is easily my favorite restaurant ever.
I went with a friend to Gracie's Place and we loved it. The service was excellent, the food was great and we sat by a front window and appreciated the sun coming through. This is a well-kept establishment. Nobody rushed us to finish and I took pictures of the place, I'm sure I'll be back. We stopped here for something to eat because we went to the Antiques Market in Williamston. It's a good stop when you want to eat and go right back to checking out the antiques.
This is a far fancier restaurant than we would normally go to with our three kids, but CB's Bucket was closed, it was late, and so we risked it. I'm really glad we did. I had sweet potato angelloni as an appetizer and coffee rubbed skirt steak as an entree. The appetizer was inspired and entree was very good. My wife's lemon marinated chicken breast (with roasted potatoes and zucchini) was excellent. The kids menu was reasonably priced and the kids enjoyed their meals. Service was fast until the end of the meal when it took the waiter a while to bring the check and then again to cash us out. The food was served in an odd order (my wife's salad came out after my entree and my son's guacamole was the very last thing served). All in all, I love this place. I'll be back to enjoy it again. Update: They have a new executive chef, Ryan. Chestnut crusted whitefish and lightly cured orange salmon were delicious, Creme brulee and green velvet cake were fantastic.
This was our first time to Gracie's place. The setting is very nice, the bartender and our waitress did a great job. I opted to try 2 appetizers (rabbit & duck choices), both of which were very disappointing. They were served slightly warm at best, didn't appear or taste freshly prepared and were bland in flavor. On the other hand my husband tried the meatloaf, which was very good.
This place took me by surprise - we went here to celebrate our anniversary...the atmosphere alone was fantastic, but the chef who prepared our food was amazing. Our meal was creative and very very good! The people serving were helpful and prompt, not to mention really friendly - we felt very comfortable and welcome. - We came back the next week to buy gift certificates for our parents! Great place - GRACIE's
