Outback Steakhouse

ordered take out online. food was ready at exactly the time the website said. staff was friendly and fast. when we got home, our food was still hot and cooked to order. the only complaint was my meal only came with mixed veggies so I paid 2.99 for a side of garlic mashed. when I got home there were no veggies only mashed potatoes...I paid 2.99 to substitute my sides lol. otherwise it was a good experience and I would definitely order carry out again
I have to say that this Outback is not so great, twice we have gone there and twice it took over 20 minutes to get our waitress to come over just to take our drink order, and after we actually did order OVER 45 minutes to get our meal, we ate there tonight and another couple that was actually sat down 20 minutes after we were got their food before we did and our food wasn't even cooked the way we had ordered it and my grandson who is only 2 had to wait an extra 10 minutes for his french fries and grilled cheese, but by gosh - the bill took less than 3 minutes to arrive after the meal - I won't eat there again, the Royal diner just down the street has better service and they serve their food hot
They couldn't get anything right. I ordered a filet with blue cheese crumbles, and they forgot the cheese. My girlfriend ordered a filet cooked medium well and it came out medium rare, and it was a sirloin. When I brought it to the attention of the management that it was a sirloin and not a filet they said they couldn't tell because she had cut it into pieces, but after some convincing on my part they only charged us for a sirloin. They tried to make their mistakes right, but there were just too many to give them a good review.
This is my favorite restaurant by far but at this outback everything we ordered was undercooked the French fries the chicken tenders my burger was barley cooked too and I ordered it medium. We told the manager and she took off the chicken tenders and the blooming onion. I still rather have my girls food be cooked right considering we don't get to go out often. Hesitant to go back to this location. Fiest bad experience at a outback usually they are right on target
The restaurant looks nice inside and in past visits the food was OK but has been trending down in quality. Last night the wife and I had dinner their the food was sub-par. The Mahi Mahi was way over done and I the steak plate with wild mushrooms was dry and not prepared properly. I wanted to send it back but my wife just wanted to finish and go. I use to love this restaurant but it is starting to turn into a typical franchise steak house, what a shame.... Also the waiter kept tapping my shoulder which is very annoying, almost comes off as intimidation. They need to re-focus on the kitchen and the food they are serving.
