I enjoyed my 2-piece cod lunch, but I felt like an outsider here. There were several patrons having lunch while my daughter and I were there, and they were pretty unfriendly. The waitress was o.k. but overcharged by $6, and when I told her I thought there was an error, she seemed irritated. She came back with the correct amount and explained that she didn't know what happened, but it was clear upon looking at the amounts that what she charged was way too much. But never mind, everyone makes mistakes, and I did like the food. My daughter's BLT was yummy - we shared our plates. The Cole slaw was o.k. - not the best but not the worst I've had. It was slightly vinegary. I like it a little sweeter but I didn't leave much in the dish either. The broiled cod was the best part - it was buttery and tender - cooked to perfection and sweet. Yum! At first appearance it looked small, but it filled me up. I spoke to the one of the owners who said her husband is very picky with his cod. It shows. For $6.99 I think I got a pretty decent meal.
