This was perfect. Easily, one of the best restaurants I have been to in years. The service was great, view was great , their Alfredo pasta was beyond great. Nothing will ever compare to it,I cannot wait to go back.
I have been a patron of the La Cantina Ristorante for over 25 years and have led many friends to it - and it's now become one of their very favorite restaurants, too! That says it all. We love the place - the food - and the owners who are always present to meet and greet their guests. I highly recommend it!
My wife and I consider La Cantina's to be one of our favorite restuarants in SW Michigan. Their low fat CHIPS-approved (heart healthy) past a dish "Tony's Shells" is very flavorful and is my personal favorite. The pizza, pasta, veal, chicken ... everthing is good to great! It is not like eating in an expensive French restaurant in Chicago but that is not what one would expect. It is good food, properly prepared, at a fair price in a cozy home town restaurant. Giant pork chop with Porchini mushroom cream sauce was absolutely great. No bias in this review, it was superb!!!
I like the place, my wife doesn't. I would definitley go more often. I like the pasta and I hear the pizza is very good
