We had lunch on the terrace today with a spectacular view and outstanding food and service. The Cobb Salad featured the freshest lettuce, topped with grilled chicken, bacon, blue cheese, the works. It could have served more than two. Desserts are all made on site and utterly decadent! It was an incredible experience!
Course was in excellent condition last year (09) and so far looking great this year. Scenic and great greens. Lee in Pro shop was awesome as was the restaurant. Bring bug spray after a rain, as the Kalamazoo river brings the bugs in when it is hot and muggy. Keep it in the middle or else!
Never been impressed. One would expect so much more from a place with such a great location. Very expensive for some hot or cold sandwiches and chips. The entree items fall very short of "wowing." I know people who like it, it's a "safe bet" kind of place, but I'd rather get much more for my money.
Was pleased Mr. Edison listened to my concerns...hoping he keeps word re comps !
