I am writing in response to Billi Miller's review. I am sorry that you had a bad experience Billi. I would like to keep you happy and keep your business. I will keep selling the Ryback Gold to you for 32.06 that is the D& R straight price. Ryback Gold is a European pipe cut along with Ryback and Three sails. Our mixes we have our manufacturer make for us also have three sails in them all of these brands are under the mix price which is 37.38 for 14 oz. I have not raised my tobacco prices in over 3 years. The price sheet is taped to the counter with all the prices on it. The price sheet is dirty and dingy because it has been their so long. Whoever was waiting on you charged you for D&R straight not the Mix price that it is. I do not raise any price unless I am forced to because my cost has went up. I would never raise the price of an item by 5.32 in one swipe. I would quit selling it if the cost went up that high. As far as I know based on customers telling me and my research of prices we are the cheapest and friendliest store in town. I am so sorry for this mix up but if you want to come back I will have a note in the book behind the counter saying you get the Ryback Gold for 32.06. I think it is only fair being you got it for that price for so long. If you decide not to I wish you well and hope you can accept my apology for your trouble. Sincerely Maureen
I've came to this place every month for 3 years, I would walk in with $40 and get my tabacco and papers and would have 5-10 dollars left. Today I went to Smokey Mountain Tabacco in Ionia and got 14oz of Ryback gold and they upped the price to $38.68 and I got my normal papers which were $1 a peice. The people said they've been under priceing tabacco and had not realized it 4 years later they up it. Needless to say they will not get my buisness ever again! I would not reccomend this place to anyone and I've told everyone I know about there prices now. I would rather go to a party store and spend $40 on cheap tabacco then go spend my money to a place that raises there prices so much.
