This place is bad. The owner is a jerk and the place smells like urine. The live dj does not know how to spin records if his life depended on it, just a place to drink and when you leave there are the racist police there to profile you. Thats Holland in a nut shell
I took my wife and children here one Wednesday night. Driving through Holland late that evening, we were looking for a place where our kids would have fun. More importantly, we were looking for a place my wife and I could feel romantic (it's been a long 15 years). Admittedly, Parrots seemed a bit dead. That is, until the DJ started spinning the freshest grooves around. You won't find any top 40 hits here! Only the best (I was SHOCKED to find out he was a local college kid! How'd he get such good taste?! teehee). Anyways, highly recommended for anyone in their 40 - 60's. Holla, middle ages!
This place is crap to customers. They disrespect their customers and start name calling customers if there is a problem and take the easy way out by stating they aren't the owners and can't do anything about issues that occur. Its pretty poor business practices when a business is suppose to to perform at a higher level than this.
Went there on a Wednesday night and there was a dollar cover charge when no any other bar had a cover charge. Probably why there were only three people in the entire bar while the other bars were packed. In other words, there are better places to go in town.
The worst place to go out in Holland. It's like crappy frat house meets Wall Street. You stick to the floor and pay through the nose for it.
