We moved up to Harrison a few years ago and only started eating at the Budd Lake Bar since the new management took over. It's a versatile place suitable to take my female friends, for my husband and I to go as a couple, for my husband to go with his guy friends, and to bring the entire family, including the toddlers to. Food is really good, and they have a great variety of burgers as well as sandwiches, fish and seafood, steaks, chicken and appetizers. Occasionally we experience slow service, but that seems to be from individual staff, not an overall problem.
We went to the Budd Lake Bar tonight and had the worst steak I have ever been served. It was so tough it could not be chewed. When we brought this to the waitresses attention she took it back to the kitchen with the pieces I had tried to chew on the plate. They did offer to fire up another steak but at that point everyone at our table was done eating. No discount was offered. Horrible experience, terrible ambiance, too bad.... this place could be so much more. Don't waste your money here!
Lots of HD tvs to watch the game.
Decent food. Terrible service. We have come here a few times now and it has been sub par. My wife has gotten food poisoning from the shrimp. They also messed up our order. Did not offer to fix it, or repace it. Will not recommend or go back.
Only place in Harrison to watch hd sports. big place OK food OK service. busy on weekend nights
