The Fusion

Every year my family heads up to Frankfort and we always make time to eat at Fusion because the food is wonderful. However, this past trip we had a very disheartening experience. Our waitress while attentive to take our order was never seen again after dropping off our food. Both my boy friend and I had ordered spicy dishes and were soon out of water. We spoke to a waitress serving the table next to us to have our water refilled and she never brought us any, while returning SEVERAL times to her own tables. We sat there long after our meal before our waitress came back, we paid and left. Upon leaving she was up front at the hostess station having her back massaged... I don't know if I will ever eat at this restaurant again. All I wanted was a water refill and someone to ask if my food was prepared well.

First of all, yum. Secondly: I worked here for two summers so I would like to respond to the individual who reviewed it fair to poor. I am sorry that you didn't enjoy your experience. However, as a rebuttle I would like to say that it IS in fact made to order. The food is extremely easy and quick to cook. Everything in the kitchen is very clean and organized, and with the usual 3-5 people cooking back there you get everything quickly. As for you living in Japan, congrats. However this is NOT authentic Japanese cuisine at Fushion, it's in the name 'FUSHION'. You can not expect people in America to enjoy the same things the Japanese eat. We are accustomed to everything being sweetened and different. No one would eat here if it was authentic b/c it's just not what people in the tiny town of Frankfort are familiar with. lastly: I really enjoyed working there, the owners are fantastic and the staff are great. I made some good friends working there. I still love going back to get red gang curry, which means after two years I am STILL not sick of their food. :)
