The Landing's

The wait for the Ironton Ferry is approximately 8 minutes. If you are heading east, you may be tempted to go into The Landing's, which is right next to the ferry boarding ramp. Do not give into the temptation. Stay in your vehicle until the ferry arrives and drive to Boyne City.

Only go if you have a boat because it is the only place on the water in the Charlevoix area. Food is not creative- kitchen chefs are summertime part timers. Drinks are good- watch out for the 'Pain Killer' a rum concoction. It goes down easily and then you have to drive your boat home.

This place is nothing special. They sell a 1/2 pound burger, big deal I can grill that in my back yard, why bother paying like 9 bucks for a burger? Most of their food are simple sandwiches. Sure its an OK place to go to when you're on a boat, but they overprice and its not worth it. Plus the manager Tom is not a nice guy. If you're in Charlevoix and want to go to a place to get your money's worth, go to Whitney's.

Fantastic food and GREAT service!! Love love love! Nothing better than eating right on the water. One of my favorite places to bring my family!

Only restaurant on the lake to pull up and dock a boat - makes it THE place for some people. Food is so so. On a hot August day, with only 2 tables outside being used, late morning, we asked the waitress if their potato chips were made with peanut oil we were told they come in a huge container with no ingredients listed. Of course they are on the box, we know. When asked whether they use peanut oil to fry with we were told the kitchen help hates to be asked the ingredients and they get upset when asked. PLEASE - the answers could be a matter of life or death. We did not ask the questions to be pests. Lastly - their phone message when called indicates that they will not answer during business hours. Well, don't answer - we won't be back, either.
