Expensive dump with awful food. I ordered nachos and instead got a chopped up, preformed hamburger patty with no seasoning that was covered in lettuce with institutional yellow corn chips. In addition to being incredibly skimpy on the beef, there was no cheese, only processed cheese sauce. The order was cold, too. Can't order breakfast at noon. I desperately wish I'd gone to McDonald's. I realized I should have just gotten a burger, but from what I saw even those looked like garbage. Please, I implore you, eat anywhere else.
I have tried on numerous occasions to have a good meal at this place but I have given up. No matter what I have ordered it has been awful. Even the salad bar is bad. And the prices are very high for the quality and size of meal. I hate to write a bad review but I want to spare others the aggravation I have experienced.
I went in sunday 9-4-2011 with family. They ordered the soup-salad bar I ordered a grilled ham and cheese and fries. my lunch took 33 mins from time of order to when I got it. WAY too slow. I asked after 20 mins if they forgot me and the waitress said my order will be up as soon as it is done! My family was done with the salad bar and were waiting for me. Well this is the first and only time I will ever eat at the Harrington Inn I would understand if they were very busy but I did look around to see most had food and only a few tables were waiting. I have worked on and off in food for over 30 yrs. I will say the food was hot and tasty (how do you make a bad ham & cheese) but 33 mins to put 2 pieces of bread on the grill and a few pieces of cheese then the ham??? the fries took longer then the H&C. That is my 2 sence worth
My wife ordered prime rib and it was terrible...espescially for 15 bucks....so much fat that u couldn't even eat it
A little pricy but good food.
