I recently had Achatz pies at my August wedding reception instead of the traditional cake. They were a huge hit. Who does not love pie? The pies were beautifully displayed on stands provided by Achatz Homemade Pie Company. The wedding pies looked so nice we almost did not want to cut them to serve. Not only do the pies taste delicious but the cost is very affordable. My cousin also just had pies at their wedding in November. Again they were a huge hit. There is so many varieties that there is something for everyone.
Awful service! Their online store wouldn't process credit card transactions (how else do you pay for an online order?) So I placed a telephone order instead for a pie for the holiday. The order never came. I called and discovered that my card number and phone number were written down incorrectly. I corrected the information and hoped for the best. Well it turns out they still had the wrong card number even after repeating it back to me correctly! As if it was a bad joke the employee copies it wrong on the third attempt too. And at that point it was too late for holiday delivery. Very disappointing. I called and left messages for their manager too but never heard back! Apparently their customer service is not as good as their pie!
