Nana's is absolutely amazing! Whether just for a quick bowl of chowder or for a leisurely filet mignon and lobster tail, Nana's always delivers. Staff seem quite capable and friendly and it's always a warm, welcoming environment. It is a little rustic but that's the whole point: Nana and Pappy aren't concentrating on spending thousands of dollars to put in expensive flat-screen televisions or marble countertops. Instead, all their efforts go into their food and service and the results are a testament to this. We dine out a great deal and Nana's is by far our favorite place for real food served by real people. If you want some gimmicky tourist crap, go somewhere else. You want the real deal? Nana's is the place.
i just wished this place would just listen to the customers for once! there is alot of complaints bout this place and they havent corrected anything bout the things thats wrong with this place. over working their employees. only if they could make the food a lot less messier on the plates and very rude employees who wants to swear and customers hear this. THIS IS REDICULUS. IAM SORRY BUT THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE WORST RESTURANT AROUND TOWN!!!!
We love Nana's! The kids LOVE the food, and Nana herself almost always comes by to say hello. We really appreciate the local environment and AWESOME food! We've been eating at Nana's in Bucksport and in Northport and it's always a great experience. We'll be back soon!
Worst food I've EVER had, and we eat out alot. Overpriced too. I'd avoid this place like the plague. Kitchen appears dirty, with extension cords sticking out from underneath equipment, etc. Plenty of staff who mostly hang around, talking. -refers to Verona Island dive
