We had steak tips and shrimp and it was great. Janet, our server, saw to us immediately. She was personable, well versed with the menu and she made good suggestions. Our food arrived quickly. We have been to the Chuckwagon several times and each time we have been very happy with our meal. I recommend this restaurant to any one and I will go back again myself.

Dont even bother. The service and food were both terrible. Absolute garbage. There was a bad sign right off. We were seated in front of the kitchen, and the cooks spent most of their time popping things in microwaves. Thats "homestyle cooking"??? The waitress took 10 minutes just to get us water, and it took almost an hour on a Wed night to get our entrees. There was a cloud of grease smoke hanging over the entire room and our clothes stank of it after leaving. My "BBQ Rib and Chicken" featured stringy, previously frozen pork ribs microwaved and smothered in cheap bottled sauce, and a flat, wooden tasting frozen chicken patty like the type you'd get in a fast food chicken sandwich. My friends sirloin tips, ordered medium, came back well done. If you do end up in this hellhole, entertain yourself with the many typos in their menu.
I have dined at the Chuck Wagon for many yeras and it is always a pleasure. The food is consistently good and you can't beat the service and prices. Try the Shrimp Cocktail!
