Ball Square Cafe & Breakfast
Reviews
Came here for Sunday brunch a few weeks ago. The waitstaff was incredibly friendly and the food was even better. The space is small but portions are HUGE! Self-serve drinks were a little different than what I'd encountered in similar settings, but the hot coffee before we were seated was incredibly welcome on a frigid winter day. If all that wasn't enough, I really appreciated the owner, Mike, coming out to personally greet everyone. He shook hands (actually, I think we got fist bumps) and even offered to take pictures of the patrons. You could just tell he loves what he does and takes a lot of pride in this establishment, as he should. I left with the warm-fuzzies and will definitely return!
I love this place! My friends recommended it and I actually went here 5 times already and I still wanting to come back. I never had Egg-Benedict before and this restaurant treated me to an awesome experience with a mouth watery brunch. I ordered the Lobster Egg Benedict, and what I like about them is that they don't cheap-out on the Lobster meats. I like it so much that I actually came back the week after that and ordered the same thing and it was just as good as the first time. My friends ordered Omelette, pancakes, and waffles, the potions is huge, i'm telling you, if you're hungry for a good brunch or breakfast this is the place to go to.
The best breakfast in Somerville area. Owner is super friendly and every one makes sure that you are taken care of.
Love Ball Square cafe. Huge fan of the Tri-Berry Waffles/French Toast. The berries and homemade whipped cream are so good you don't need syrup at all. The Fruit Delight was a bit too much food. I barely made it to the waffle. Go with the berries.
We've been looking for a great breakfast for almost a year now and have finally found it. The restaurant is clean. The food is incredible. The staff is honestly concerned about your satisfaction. The only downside is that the portions are more than we can eat.
