Went to this restaurant this past Saturday night(02/21/15) with my wife for the first time and had a great experience. I had a steak that cooks on some type of stone right in front of you! It was so unique and tasting that I recommend everyone to try it! My wife had a seafood dish that I don't recall the name, but it came on top of linguine with a red pepper sauce- AMAZING! When we arrived at the restaurant we were surprised to find out that they had live music in the lounge side. We both loved the food and our waitress was very friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back soon!
Heard a few positive things about this restaurant, unfortunately I do not have a positive experience to pass along. For starters I ordered a shrimp cocktail and was originally brought out shrimp cakes. Upon bringing out the the correct appetizer, the shrimp cocktail was warm and chewy. I also ordered a seafood soup, which apparently was a tomato basil base, and was then served a chicken noodle soup. The part that surprised me the most is the waitress asked "how was the seafood soup?", which lead me to believe she had no clue about her menu or what the food should look like. Lastly I ordered a $25 filet that I ordered medium, which was brought out to me butterflied cut open and overcooked. But it wasn't just me, there were several screw up going on around me at various tables. In theory the food was good, but the quality and presentation was not up to par with the pricing and hype I received before going. Teach your waitresses the menu so they can answer questions properly, and to be able to notice mistakes before they leave the kitchen and get to your customers table.
I stopped by this restaurant for the first time last week. I sat at the bar with a friend of mine and we had drinks and dinner. First off, the service was phenomenal! The bartender, River (I think that's her name), was friendly and she was able to answer my many questions about the menu since it was my first time there. She really made us feel welcome and it really enhanced our experience. For dinner I had the Crazy Alfredo dish. It was delicious!! Just enough spice to make it tasty, but not too hot so you can't enjoy it. My friend did the stone where you actually cook the meat in front of you. It was very unique and my friend loved it. I tried a bit of her filet and the flavor was outstanding. I also tried her brussel sprouts that came with the meal and I think I'm addicted. So yummy!! Overall, I'm glad I came to this restaurant and I plan on coming back soon! Thank you for a wonderful experience!! Sasha
Had a great experience at this restaurant last Friday night with a few friends. We tried Portuguese food for the first time and we all enjoyed our meals. Prices are affordable and food portions are generous. My waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. She made a few suggestions that were on point. She had a trainee with her that was also friendly. A+
Overpriced food, terrible customer service, and an attitude to go with it. I made reservations here and wasn't seated until 45 minutes after the time I had made the reservations. There was no courtesy shown to my date and me for our wait time, there wasn't a host to apologize, just an unapologetic attitude from a prepubescent waitress. I would not recommend this wannabe upscale restaurant to anyone. It's an establishment lacking taste, class, and the slightest bit of concern for their patrons.
