We stayed here for a few days while visiting Jacob's Pillow. The staff were very friendly and the room was wonderful! We bought some wine at the wine store and we were able to get a bucket of ice and wine glasses from the bar. They were very helpful downstairs whenever we needed anything. We at dinner in the dining room one night while we were there and it was very enjoyable. Steak is highly recommended! The Kelly Room was perfect for us (we chose that room so we didn't have to share a bathroom) and we slept perfectly. We will definitely be back here the next time we are in the Berkshires!
Went with wife and two young sons after a day of bicycling...Ordered two apple juices; they were served with large blooms of bacterial cultures growing in the juices. Pointed out to waitress...reply was we don't use the apple juice very often. Being late already in the evening to be feeding young ones...opted to stay. Kids chicken tenders arrive overly fried to the point of very dry meat. The calamari was bland...no seasoning in the batter covering. Kids playing at the tabled discovered four pieces of chewing gum adhered to the edge of the underside of the table. Worse of all...when the bill came...they had included the two apple juices on the bill. Management not overly interested in the problems. Very disappointing overall experience. Hopefully for all other diners at this establishment...ours was just a extremely bad string of coincidences.
Slow service, small portions, Pasta was tasteless... My husband's dinner was good though, but they should have comped my meal for making me wait while they put some flavor into it when I sent it back to the kitchen... Better restaurants around the area.
Mothers Day 5-9-2010 dinner was great didn't wait to long.Service was very good .We were very pleased ,coming from Malden to the Lee mall ,it capped off a great day.
