The Still Bar & Grill

The atmosphere is a bar the service is non existent and not welcoming. We only went because we had won a gift card. We will not be back the place is so dark we couldn't read the menu. Surprising that my food was good. Our server sat at the rail and talked with friends the entire time we were there. When we walked in there was no greeter so we found a table and sat down. We waited 5 min before the server who was seated talking to friends got up to see what we wanted to drink. We will never return.
Can't comment on the food, because we didn't even get served. I stupidly bought a Groupon to this place not having any idea what it was like. I was surprised to find it's in a strip mall. Classy. Anyways, we went in (party of 4) and there were a few people at the bar but no one was eating. We asked the bartender if we should order at the bar and she said no, we could sit and be served. OK. She brought us menus, and then appeared to totally forget about us. It was weird, because we were the only party in the dining area which is clearly visible from the bar. We stared at the bartender who was just standing around sipping water. We thought it was not a good sign that no one else in the place was eating. After a ridiculous amount of time passed (20 minutes or more?) of sitting there not even being offered drinks, we just decided to leave. There were some other dudes working there (security?) They just watched us walk out. No one cared that we were leaving without ordering. Not the most welcoming place! My Groupon is just going to waste...you couldn't pay me to go back there.
Stopped by on the Sat. the 28th. Heard about the Still on the radio and my wife stopped in. We weren't intending on staying very long, but the band they had there was OUTSTANDING!!!!! SO we stayed waaay longer than planned. The Cooper Jones Band played classic rock and roll and had the place jumpin'. Wife and I like to dance and they played very danceable music all night long. It's too bad the younger crowd there just like to sit and drink and watch us old farts dance. We only had nachos (and how do you screw up nachos?) so I can't say too much about the food, although the plates that were served up to people around us looked tempting. Wide variety of beers to choose from, and the drinks were very very good. I can't say very much about the service because there wasn't any........ We had to get our drinks at the bar, sometimes standing 2 and 3 deep waiting for attention, from the already overwhelmed bartenders (only 2 on a Saturday night!!!!) They did a great job considering they were sooo short staffed. If I were the management at the Still, I'd hire at least 1 more bartender, 2 or 3 waitresses, and I sign the Cooper Jones Band to a long term engagement contract.....
I really liked the atmosphere of the place walking in. I ordered a jack and coke but it was really weak, and then ordered three shots for my party, which came to about 10.50, which didn't make mathematical sense. The service was slow and jumbled, with me being served quicker in lesser bars, not only in the time it took to take my order but the time between ordering and receiving my drink and then paying for it. Everything felt slow and like a hassle. I think on the whole, it wasn't a place I would visit unless there were not other real options.
It's okay but way to many fights in there, really young crowd and the service is generally terrible. The four times I have been I have waited at least 5-10 minutes for a drink and then the order is usually wrong. I do like the atmosphere and the bands are okay. Entertainment is mediocre at best.
