If you like your barbecue to taste like it has been boiled and sauce poured over the top of it then this place is for you. The ribs were the worst I've ever had. The pulled pork was mushy and drenched in barbecue sauce. The sausage was cut up into them pieces and fried hard as a rock. But if you like your food that way then you're going to love this place.
Absolute worst customer service ever. I stood at the counter for at least 10 minutes before I was asked if I wanted to place an order. What did she think! Their attitudes are absolutely horrible and disgust me greatly. Avoid this place like to plague.
Good BBQ
On the road from Baton Rouge to Houston, stopped here based on previous reviews. The turkey sandwich is NOT barbecue, just lunchmeat (and thin at that), the brisket was tender, but sliced thin enough to be nearly translucent, any meat is tender. The cold BBQ sauce was overwhelmingly sweet. There wasn't much meat on either sandwich and the fries were terribly greasy. The cook took our order, made it, brought it to us and rang us up. When she asked if everything was alright, we told her we thought neither sandwich was a real value; to which she just shrugged and said, "sorry, " like 'too bad, can't help it. '
Love love love it... It was so good the girls were so nice as soon as I set down they came right up to my table got my drink order within 10 minutes My food was at my table I ate everything set there at least 20 more minutes talking to the owner and his daughters if you're looking for a home cooked meal and you like to talk you definitely should stop by I can't wait to go back and tried fried chicken :)
