If I could have rated it higher, I would have. I am a DMin student at Asbury and I loved this place. The food is very delicious, the service is outstanding, the prices are reasonable, and they accommodate your food particularities. When I travel, I desire family owned restaurants and this one tops the list. Even the menu is delightful. Social atmosphere is very friendly to all. I love Tuesdays/Thursdays because they stay open later on those days. If you visit Wilmore, treat yourself to the best restaurant in KENTUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of the owners, Erin, went way above and beyond the call of duty to help delivery a birthday cake to a friend who lives in town (I am from out of state). I wanted to get a strawberry shortcake to my friend who lives in Wilmore for her birthday (which fell over Memorial Day weekend). Erin looked up recipes for me, made the cake especially for this occasion (it was beautiful!), delivered it on Memorial Day (a holiday), and helped figure out my friend's schedule (she is friends with someone who works with her) so that I could keep it a surprise. All this for a very, very reasonable price! My friend said the cake was delicious! I can't thank Erin and Solomon's Porch enough for their exceptional service and willingness to be flexible! The next time I am in town, I will definitely stop by to eat here, and I recommend you do the same!:)
Great food & good atmosphere. We ordered the quiche specials, split them & the muffins. The muffins are not the cakey, sugary type - a nice surprise. Definitely recommend this!
Wonderful place, nice experience
I ate lunch there with family and we all liked it - highly recommend. This small shop would succeed in large city. They had a wide selection, from hamburger to quiche to salad to muffins and croissants to grilled a cheese sandwich.
