I travel a lot for work and I have seen some bad Hooters or some not so great Tilted kilts or other restaurants but never as bad as this one, we ordered 10 wings, fries and a bowl of gumbo, it took 45 minutes after we ordered to get our food and 1 hour for the fries, the food was nasty, I didn't touch the gumbo at all it had a 1/2" layer of grease, most people would say that we don't go there for the food but the eye candy was not exactly sweet, the bar tender just stayed on her phone all the time, dirty tables, sticky floor, and a busted water pipe in the bathroom, I don't understand how a place like this will stay in business but I'm not the owner so I don't really care too much, if you are going to try it good luck.
The service has really gotten bad over the years. The owner trys but i dont think anyone has told her she has no buisness in the clothes she wears.... like most of the servers. Anyways the food was worth the stop. You have to try the sensational quesa or wings
I sat for 20 minutes at a table while no one on staff took the time of day to acknowledge me. The place has one of those games you usually find in dive bars, the kind with a speed bag that you and your idiot friends can hit for a high score. The girls are somewhere in between Hooters and Spice Rack quality, none of them made me cringe but they were definitely country. The deck looked like a fun place to be, some good ole boys had a game of corn hole going on. This place was more like a college bar, but without college educated people or hygiene. It is a hangout for the locals and nothing more. I likely was not served on account of my shirt having sleeves and buttons on it. I don’t regret my 20 minutes at Showmes, sometimes it is nice to sit back and observe the more inferior creations of God
My wife and i enjoy lunch here food is hot and everyone is nice and friendly to us Maybe the attitude is in how you act toward others if you treat others kindly they will reciprocate
Wasnt real impressed with the service. Food was mediocre
