Fantastic food! Overall a great experience.
It's hit or miss at Caproni's. I have been disappointed on our last three visits. Last Saturday night it was a miss. The tables are so close together at the windows that the server has to lean over you. They booked a large party (at least 20) and put it in the main dining area. The noise level went up and the musician got louder to compensate. At a table for 4 we could barely hear oneanother! I had the crab cakes and you could barely taste the crab for the overepowering, hot seasoning. Their recent idea of putting a family style salad on the table is kind of sad and soggy. It will be a long time before we return. Cap's has a great location and the view is a treat for visitors to our area, so we often have to go.
I was with the Trace Homemaker's from Boyd County KY on May 19. There were 10 members who ate at Caproni's. I had the best Hot Brown I have ever eaten. We all loved it. Service was great and food was excellent.
I personally have never been disappointed in this wonderful establishment. The service is top notch, the food was amazing and the price...well you get what you pay for. My family and I dine there all the time and we absolutely love it!
Rude service. Water stained ceiling. The food was like something you'd get at De Sha's. Which isn't bad, but not worth thirty dollars a plate. Not nice. At all.
