Bad service, but not because of the waitress. She was great, it was because she was the only waitress on duty and she had too many people to serve. It was a Thursday night and the place had little business but that is not excuse. I got their wings (not grilled). The sauce was good but they were dry and too crunchy, just overcooked. Considering the price, I was expecting something much better. The entrance for the place sits directly behind a bunch of landscaping and most of the parking is in the back so expect a good walk to get in. I would have given it three stars had I been there with a group of friends instead of the family. The environment is very well giving off a festive atmosphere. I would say the place isn't bad to go there for some drinks with friends after you have had a good meal.
Rootie's has a new sheriff in town, A highly decorated Chef in the kitchen. So if you have had a bad experience please give the place another chance.
Food is good but unfortunately we won't be going back. Tried to give them several chances, because it was close and we liked the idea of going local - For some reason the waitstaff refuses to write anything down, and for 4 times in a row now, our orders have been wrong. I really don't know why some waiters refuse to write things down, you aren't impressing us!
