Scriber's Station on Elm

Eat in...Don't order take out. Awhile back, my daughter and I enjoyed a nice lunch with family at Scriber's Station. The food and service were great and because of this experience, we placed an order for take out a few weeks later. However, our experience was much different than dining in. First, the food was cold, even though we only live three minutes away. When I called to complain, the man argued with me and then finally agreed to replace the food on my next visit. When I finally relented and tried again, we had the same experience. The food was cold and the fries tasted like they had been cooked early that morning. The other night, we decided to give it one last try. It will be our last as far as take out ordering. Again, the fries were cold, tough and tasted old. The burgers were barely warm and my daughter tried them as soon as she got to the car with the order. Not wanting to make a scene, she came on home with it. I didn't bother calling and complaining this time because I felt it would be in vain; I wasn't in the mood to argue over the quality of the food. I won't rate them as bad, but I will suggest that if you are going to eat at this facility, dine in. You'll get much better service and quality of food.
Great country cooking.
Great home-cooking and atmosphere for friends and family. Very good steaks and BBQ!
