This marina is located on a beautiful spot on the lake. The employees are nice, many with great southern charm. The floating rooms would be nice too if kept clean. We saw the same dirty hand print on our room door on two trips, two months apart. Floating room 4 had two large dogs in it although no dogs are allowed. Every place you walk ashore is covered with dog excrement. Dogs are running loose around the dock as well as inside the store which also does not allow dogs. We saw the general manager who also had an unleashed dog. We asked if there wasn't a leash policy. He didn't directly answer the question but his response was basically that there's other marinas on the lake which all have dogs. In not so many words, we were told if we didn't like it to go elsewhere. We have small children and aren't willing to risk their getting dog bit. Wisdom Resort would be a great place is properly managed. We won't be back until the dog situation is remedied.
