YC Subway = not so hot; YC Subway Ice Cream = best in 6 counties! The Subway here is not so good with their sandwiches. I cannot quite figure out why that is or how it could be --- if you have eaten at a Subway more than twice, you could make the sandwiches just from watching; but these guys just don't have it down. If you are hungry for Subway, and are passing through, get back on the road and go on to Burlington or Iola. If you are in town, and it is lunch time, go around the corner to the Tip Top or Smoky Bens. BONUS: The bonus here is real good "hard pack" ice cream, just like the Peter Pan store that used to stand on this site. It is WAY better than Dairy Queen or Sonic, and is worth the stop all on its own.
