When they're cooking the food, it doesn't take forever for them to make it. They don't toss it out in 30 seconds either, though. It takes a certain amount of time to make a burger or other food correctly so that it tastes excellent (and it's nice that, as opposed to fast food, it's real meat - not this 30% beef stuff that you get at Taco Bell and McDonalds). They take just enough time to make the food well and not a bit longer. It's definitely worth the money and I'd recommend it to anyone eating in Tribune.

Love, love, love this place! Friendly, welcoming atmosphere in a nice building on broadway... owners run the place and are nice to chat with. Classic american fare with delicious sandwiches!

As any small town everyone knew who one another was. This restaurant was inside an antique store, so you could buy paintings on the wall, furniture etc.

The food is good, they have stuff like: hamburgers, fish sandwich, and other common foodsies. George and Karen are very friendly, and if you are afraid of lacking a conversation its easy to strike up a conversation with other people dining at Karen's Kitchen. In my personal opinion, it is the best place to go while in Tribune because, the prices and food are good.
