Tried the Pickle-0 as suggested by another reviewer. They were good though for $2.15 and only getting 5 or 6 I wouldn't do it again. Burgers were ok priced, but the fries and pickle-o's could have been doubled for the amount to get a better amount. Over all good food, but $8 for a "super burger" (two fresh made hamburger patties with what tastes like barbecue sauce, onions and pickles. No lettuce or tomato), waffle fries and an order of Pickle-o's I think it was a little on the overpriced side. I'd go again though and try something else. BTW if you use google maps to find it, know that it currently isn't showing in the right place. It is at the corner of 83 and 40 (there are actually 2 intersections for these streets that are about a half mile apart. You want the one the is further East).

i live about 4 hours away and dons is SO GOOD i have driven all the way back to oakley just for a delicious hamburger and fries. tottally worth the drive, best burger in the world!!!

The food was really good here, but there were a few things that kept it from getting a 5 star rating. If you are hungry for immediate food don't go here, it is all cooked fresh so it takes a while to get your food, especially if it is busy and it usually is. The speakers are very old, so it is very important to basically yell slowly to make sure they get your order correct. The sides are very small and not really worth the price. The pickle-o's were the worst value of all. I love fried pickles and was a little mad once I saw what I was given. My suggestion stick with the burgers.

The food is one of a kind just Luke the owner. The place is an old fashioned drive in.
