Bruff's
Reviews

We entered Bruff's late in the afternoon on Mother's Day. The crowd had died down yet the sign indicates 'wait to be seated'. Well we did, we waited and waited and waited as several waitresses were standing at the far side of the bar facing us. Finally one of the servers came up and greeted us leading us to a booth. The service did not improve from there. It took over 15 minutes to get our meal ordered, another 20 + minutes to get our food. I had requested coffee - however the cup the server finally brought out had stuff floating in it - and it did not appear to be coffee grounds, The food was luke warm at best when we received it. I was clearly disappointed in both the food and the service at this point particularly after I had heard good reviews from friends. We will not go back.

I walked out after 10 minutes when my waitress never returned after initial drink service... long waits are one thing, but all the other waitresses were looking at me, passing me by, making eye contact, and never saying a word or getting my waitress. The manager seemed equally young and clueless as the waitresses, so I left at that point. (She wasn't even certain that she was the manager - if she were a little more "in charge", perhaps I would have stayed.) Not worth it... just pass by Emporia or eat at Applebee's.

I go once or twice a month the service and food is always great

The food is ok, the service is just ok also, the atmosphere is good. Emporia thinks this is the place to go, but whenever I am made to go my order never is right. For what I get overall the value is no good.

Over priced for what you get. Just moved back to Emporia, miss wichita's resturant choices.
