The food is good. The prices are good. They have the best soup around. This is our favorite place to go. We love it there. I don't understand the reviewer before me. He must be a disgruntled ex employee.
I walked into Kosta yesterday at 1:10pm knowing they close at 2pm posted on the door, only to here a voice from the back of the kitchen (GUS the owner) yell at the waitress (I told you lock the doors we are done for the day @#$@#@) there were several people still in the restaurant and all turned to look at us in dismay. I kindly told the waitress it was fine we will go somewhere else. My suggestion to Gus is close up full time and the issue with customers coming in during regular business hours will go away.
Went here with some family a couple years back and never tried this place again. This used to be decent place, but the food was just so disgusting. Since then I have been told they did a lot of remodeling. So hopefully with the new changes things have improved. Sadly that can't be said for the owner. I hear all the time how rude and degrading he is to fellow employees. I wont give names. If this place has improved I will remove or edit this post.
The service and food are just great. Very consistent each time we visit. We are from the suburbs of Indianapolis and visit Kosta's each time we go through Winamac.
Good food, prices. The waitresses are a real asset, especially Nora and Holly. Will be back each time I am in town!!!
