Three Pints Brewpub
Reviews
stopped in last evening on my way home from southern Indiana. Nice place but very dark. Ended up sitting on the in where I must have been out of the wait staff's view because I waited often for service. According to the person who did wait on me, this place has been in business since 2010 (?), yet they were out of growlers (It was suggested to another patron that they go down the street to a competitor and purchase an empty growler and bring it back.) This place also does not sell their glassware, so if you'd like to purchase a pint glass for your glassware collection, go elsewhere. All of that being said, their beer was very good. Would have loved to take some the rest of the way home with me.
excellent IPA! Ghost pepper steak sammie? better grab another pint first! Great service - definitely going back to try another glass or two
Good beer, good food. Carry out order with only one item was flubbed. Some attention to detail when someone is paying $16 would be nice. It was supposed to be Cajun style! I don't want these boring fries, and even if they were cajun I got less than half the amount than dining in w the same order (the box had plenty of room) Giving them 5 stars to counteract the inordinate number of crybaby reviews here. There was a mixup with your band? The interior decorating sucked when they opened? Sheesh. It's fine now, and nobody is looking for that information.
From my first hand account, the Three Pints promotion manager miscommunicated and double booked our band to play on the evening of 8/22/13. After previously confirming via email that we were in fact set to play last night, he adamantly demanded we tear down our gear and leave. He then alleged my best friend and band leader "had been a jerk to the wait staff and acted like he owned the place" the last time he played there. We have played there approximately 5 times and is continually asked back. When confirming he'd rather us leave, thereby deny 50 of our guests' business, we peacefully left confused. Furthermore, he continues to deny any wrongdoing or responsibility. This behavior is completely unacceptable to me as a musician and as a now former patron. I personally will never return to Three Pints and strongly recommend none of my friends or family does either. Outside of this issue, their food and drinks were good. Hopefully Three Pints can recover from this mistake.
I will start by saying we enjoyed our food and drinks. If you are looking for a fancy place this is not your destination. It is well above a hole in the wall but is not fine dining. I judge a place by it bathrooms and this pubs are modern spacious and clean. We had the house scotish ale and enjoyed it. I had a burger and would rate it above average as bar burgers go. Not the best ive had but well worth the money and tasty. My wifes chicken wrap was good but she ordered a chicken sandwich. The server offered to exchange but we were in a hurry. They did provide a free drink because of the error. If I was in the area again I would go back.
