I returned to the old stomping grounds this past weekend, and was invited to meet friends at "The Squeeze." I hadn't visited there since it was purchased by its current owner just a few years ago, so was very interested to see how it had evolved. Cutting to the chase, I had a really good experience. Pros: Staff was very friendly, service was top notch, atmosphere was great, great assortment of beers, and prices were very reasonable, especially the food: Nice assortment of appetizers that were very good to excellent. We had the O-rings, fried green beans, fried shrooms, curly fries, and one of the group had a cheeseburger that he said was very good. It is a "Smoking" tavern, but I will say it didn't seem smoky to non-smoking me. Cons: It's not a huge space and they had a near-capacity crowd, so there was noise. But the owner did tell me they plan to expand. I highly recommend! Great local hangout. Will definitely go back next time I'm in town.
