I had lunch here with my mom and sister. I just got the chicken strips basket with fries and a side salad. It was all very average. My sister ordered grilled cheese and fries from the kids' menu and it was also average. My mom chose the turkey club sandwich and she said it was less than average. The service was also pretty slow, which wasn't a big deal since we weren't in a hurry. We won't be going back though. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who doesn't want average food.
Wasn't open on a Thursday at lunch time.
What little time I have spent in Mt. Vernon seems to point to this place as the better place to eat. It is clean and kind of charming, the waiters are fine. Nothing exotic on the menu but that is ok. It looks like the old farmers have moved over here now that Gundies closed down. If you want some nice Hoosier food, this seems like a positive place to start.
